How to Go to Heaven

According to the Word of God

It is very simple to be saved and takes only a minute to explain. Please let me show you how to get to Heaven from the Bible, God’s Word…

1. Man is a sinner.

* Isaiah 53:6, “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

* John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

* Romans 3:10, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”

* Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

2. There is a price on our sin―eternal death in Hell.

* Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Continue reading

Those Nasty Tantrums

Ten Ways To Tame a Tantrum

Tantrums will come; ohhh they will come. How we handle them is very important to our child’s developement. We must always remain in control of the situation.Don’t allow your child to cause you to have a melt down.Stay calm and cool. These ten suggestions will help you to  tame your child’s tantrum.

1. Ignore your child: I have found ignoring the tantrum works quite well. This can seem somewhat not compassionate but give it a try.You may be surprised.

2. Give your child some space: Your child may be trying to do something on their own.Maybe he want’s to solve the issue himself.A little space to do that may be what he needs. He may need to be left alone to get the anger out himself.

3. Create a diversion: You could try to get your child’s attention on something else.Changing the subject to something fun usually works wonders.I have found this to be very successful. Continue reading

Can I clean my toddler’s ears with a cotton swab?

How do I get the wax out?

Expert Answers

Jo Ann Rohyans, pediatrician

Never insert a cotton swab or anything else into your toddler’s ear canal; you could easily puncture the eardrum that way. Earwax (cerumem) is nature’s protection for the ear canal, and there’s usually no reason to try to get it out of your child’s ears.

If you’re concerned about a buildup of earwax, ask your toddler’s doctor about it. If there’s so much wax that the doctor can’t see the eardrum (which she’ll need to do when checking for an ear infection), she’ll remove it. Otherwise, it will come out on its own eventually, and sticking a cotton swab in there is likely to push it in farther.

Instead, simply clean the outer part of your toddler’s ears with a cotton swab moistened with oil or peroxide, or a washcloth moistened with warm water.
